Omar Hilal director signs up for M.E rep.

Following our global expansion, renknowned Egyptian director Omar Hilal has joined Spoke for representation in the Middle East.  

Omar graduated from the American University in Cairo, and went onto become Creative Director at both Leo Burnetts and McCann Erickson.

Speaking fluent English, Arabic and Italian ( having lived in Saudi Arabia, Canada and Italy ) he is now based in Cairo with his wife and young daughter.

One of the most talented and charming directors around, he still writes copy if the agency requires, and is often asked to help bring the clients ‘concept’ to life.

Omar has vast experience with shooting all over the Middle East and has had huge success winning many awards including the Grand Prix Dubai Lynx and the Grand Prix Mena Cristals.

Football is his greatest passion ( and cooking Indian food apparently, although we have no proof of this as yet ! ).

Spoke Films is launching offices in Dubai and Cape Town due to the increasing demand for directors with production experience and knowledge of local markets.  We are delighted to have Spoke's new 'International producer' Colin Cash on board who will run the new operation from Dubai.  South African Colin has established himself as a producer with a terrific client base and a reputation of getting the job done with minimal fuss.

Our base in Cape Town will give our clients from the Middle East the choice to shoot in a cost effective environment with more assets at their disposal.
